A ‘Galactic Storm’ streaming across a recent northern frozen Canadian starry night sky inspired me to paint this shimmering emerald Aurora Borealis. Northern night skies allows one to easily observe distant stars and galaxies well beyond our Milky Way Galaxy.

I must admit Jackson Pollock’s incredible abstract paintings and his fluid style inspired me to literally let the Winsor & Newton paints fly...  Years ago, the Allied Artists of America invited me to exhibit with many other talented artists from across North America at The National Arts Club at 15 Gramercy Park South, NYC.

Where there was a fascinating lecture that focused on Jackson Pollock’s paintings and unique painting style thus I have always been heavily influenced by his abstract fluid style.
